Hey all:
First, I was overwhelmed to see the responses to my note to the forum about my Sister, Doris. God bless each and every one of you! Your goodwill and support means more to me than you know.
My other sister, Dorothy, has taken Doris back up to her place in the hills in Tennessee for awhile. And, when Doris needs to go back home to Florida, Dorothy is going with her. She's in damn good hands, there.
As for the future..."one day at a time."
I got back late Sunday afternoon, had the pleasure of landing in a good-sized thunderstorm. Very, very tired, so going to finish up some stuff here at work and go home and crash ASAP. Again, my heartfelt thanks to all of you for your good wishes and prayers!
PS to Witchdoctor and WDO: Got a call from a riding buddy of mine this morning who told me we didn't miss the Pig Trail ride-in more than anybody else. Cancelled due to the heavy thunderstorms that kept rolling through. Maybe next year!
